John Lennon
Music was the most noted form of John Lennon\'s artistic expression, but he had studied at art school and produced many works based on line drawings. The messages of peace and love which Lennon proclaimed to the world are apparent in both his music and his artwork.

Two is One

Painted in sumi ink. One of the most distinguished artworks by John Lennon. Lack of lines between John and Yoko symbolizes their unity. Archival fine art poster print in an unnumbered edition. Published in 1990 as a limited time run print on heavy stock with embossing.

Real Love

Painted in sumi ink. The artist allows us to fill in empty spaces. Archival fine art poster print in an unnumbered edition. Published in 1991 as a limited time run on heavy stock with embossing.

Kangaroo

A whimsical approach to man and his place in society. The pouch represents the restrictions imposed by the establishment and the desire to escape that.

Peace and Love

John, with Yoko at his side, plays the sitar during the Bed in For Peace. This work was selected in 1969 for inclusion in the Bag One portfolio, and at the last minute replaced by an erotic image. Finally it was released six years after his death in the exact form as originally intended by John.

Tokyo Summer of 77

Closeness of the family reinforced by the lack of lines in between John and Yoko. The balloon and their hair moved by a breeze. John made the sumi ink drawing, which was a base for this lithograph, in 1977 in Japan.

Magic Birds

Juggling Birds, what fun!!

Beautiful Boy

A loving portrait. In the Beautiful Boy song John tells his son: Before you cross the street, take my hand, life is what happens to you whilst you’re busy making other plans.

Watch the Holes Yoko

John leads Yoko through the minefield of life.

Nothing is Impossible

Up-beat John believes he could stretch the bounds of reality: here he pictures himself walking on water.
