Race Record Dream is a print from a magic marker and water color original that Jerry rendered as a tribute to his passion for the beloved roots music from days gone by. In the 1920s through 1940s, 78 rpm shellac disc records of jazz and blues marketed to African Americans were known as “race records.” This artwork is numbered and embossed by DB Artworks, a publishing company, half of which was owned by Jerry Garcia.
