This unusual portrait of Elvis is done in
the style of Andy Warhol. Ronnie's original drawing of Elvis is reproduced many
times over, each in a different shade of color. Perhaps Ronnie was using the
pop art style to show how overused Elvis' image has become, and to uncover the
man behind his fame. This is state one of two.
