John Sozanski, born in Warsaw Poland, is a refugee, journalist, editor, and art enthusiast. He received awards from the Philadelphia Writing Conference in 2015 and 2016 and is a member of the Mad Poets Society. Expecting Hands, published by Moonstone Press in 2024, is his first collection of verse.
