Jon Anderson, original lead singer of YES is a multi-talented performer. Jon's recurrent themes in his music and artwork are environmentalism, spirituality, pacifism, and sun worship. In this artwork Jon perceives the flowers as a visual interpretation of his music. In "Sunhillow" Anderson set out to paint flowers but he could not keep the humming birds from suddenly appearing on the paper.
